Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts

The PCA�s Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts program offers project grants to individuals and organizations. These grants are administered through our 13 regional partners. Visit the PCA web site link below for more information.

Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour (PennPAT)

The purpose of PennPAT is to increase opportunities for professional Pennsylvania-based performing artists to obtain successful touring engagements. The program includes grants to presenters, grants to artists, training for artists and marketing support.

National Endowment on the Arts (NEA)

The NEA offers Literature Fellowships to published creative writers and translators of exceptional talent in the areas of prose and poetry. In addition, the NEA�s new play development program will provide financial support for playwrights and institutions developing outstanding new American plays.

New York Foundation for the Arts

The New York Foundation for the Arts provides a free national information resource for artists in all disciplines. There is a searchable national database of awards, funding, services and other resources for artists in all disciplines.

Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation (MAAF)

The Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation offers several resources for artists including a toolkit, a searchable database and Arts Links � which provides information on current issues facing artists and arts organizations.

Creative Capital

Creative Capital is a national nonprofit organization that supports artists pursuing adventurous and imaginative work in the performing and visual arts, film/video, innovative literature, and emerging fields. Sign up for their email list to receive notifications on Creative Capital, its programs, and regional visits as they develop.

Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council (GPAC)

GPAC provides an artist opportunity Listserv that includes national calls for public art opportunities; local, regional and national calls for exhibitions and professional development opportunities available through GPAC. The web site also provides a free resource for arts jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities.

The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage

Pew Fellowships in the Arts (PFA), a program of The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, annually awards up to 12 fellowships of $60,000 to artists of exemplary talent in the five-county Philadelphia area.

The Leeway Foundation

The Leeway Foundation offers Art and Change Grants and the Leeway Transformation Awards. Both programs fund women and trans artists living in the Delaware Valley region of Bucks, Camden, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties, who engage in art and social change work and have financial need.

Fractured Atlas

Fractured Atlas is a non-profit organization that serves a national community of artists and arts organizations. Their programs help artists and arts organizations function more effectively as businesses by providing access to funding, healthcare, education, and more.

Leveraging Investments in Creativity (LINC)

Leveraging Investments in Creativity is a 10-year initiative to improve artists� ability to make work, build social capital and contribute to democratic values. LINC builds on recent research by the Urban Institute that identifies programs and services for artists but points to the need for new efforts that expand financial supports for artists� work; improve artists� access to essential material supports such as live-work space and insurance and bolster knowledge, collaborations, and public policies that affect the work of artists and their contributions to communities.

Artists Health Insurance Resource Center

The Artists Health and Resource Center (AHIRC) is a by-state listing that provides an up-to-date, comprehensive and unbiased database of health care resources for artists and other indivuals.

CEC Artslink

Artslink supports exchange between artists and arts organizations in the United States and Easter Europe and Central Europe, Russia, Central Asia and the Caucasus.

Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF)

Craft Emergency Relief Fund helps support the careers of craft artists throughout the United States. Through business and career-strengthening programs, emergency relief support, advocacy and research, CERF helps professional craft artists strengthen and sustain their careers.

The is an online resource for visual artists and photographers looking for art contest and opportunity listings from all over the United States and abroad.


InLiquid provides opportunities and exposure for visual artists and designers, serving as a free public hub for local, national and international arts information and resources.

Philadelphia Independent Film and Video Association (PIFVA)

PIFVA seeks to increase the creation and completion of new independent film projects through its Finishing Funds Grant program which gives cash and in-kind grants to member applicants. They also provide networking and learning spaces for media makers to share work, garner feedback, and learn new skills.

Pollock-Krasner Foundation

The Pollock-Krasner Foundation offers grants to visual artists who are painters, sculptors and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. Grant awards are based on recognizable artistic merit and financial need, whether professional, personal or both. The Foundation�s mission is to aid, internationally, those individuals who have worked as professional artists over a significant period of time.

The Independent

Independent Media Publications aims to inform, promote, encourage and mobilize the independent and grassroots media arts movement.

Philadelphia/Tri State Artists Equity

The purpose of Philadelphia/Tri State Artists Equity is to work collectively with individual visual artists, as well as with other organizations, throughout the greater Philadelphia.

Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia

The Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia serves as a resource for information, professional development, and advocacy for region�s theatre community.
